Published on: June 27, 2016

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is announcing their annual summer children’s play. This year the play is “Alice’s Wonderland Adventures” which is an adaptation by Billie Nye-Muller of the Lewis Carroll classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Directors Billie Nye-Muller and Samantha Webb along with choreographer, Callie Webb, have been working hard with the cast members to have this show ready for your summer enjoyment. The show dates are Friday and Saturday, July 15 & 16 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, July 17th at 3:00 pm at the Winder Cultural Arts Center theater.

Tickets are now on sale at the City of Winder Customer Care Center at 770-867-3106 (prompt one for Event Ticket Sales) or at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance Office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679). Tickets are only $5.00 for children ages 12 and under. Ages 13 and older are only $10.00. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door on the date of the show.

Part of the proceeds from this show will be donated to Food2Kids where bags of food are provided for children on the weekends during the school year. Children who receive free breakfast and lunch are often hungry on the weekends so this program was designed to help them. Audience members will also be invited to a reception after the show so they can meet the cast members and enjoy a snack.
